Heeding others’ recommendations, we called on Alex Masonry for replacement and expansion of our front stoop (platform and steps), replacement of a badly cracked concrete walkway with pavers, and creation of a concrete apron at the base of side steps at the house. They came to look over the work to be done, and offered estimates for two different options, explaining carefully the benefits and costs of each. Accommodating our schedule, they came to the house again on a weekend, so we could see different pavers and choose our preferred color. When rainy weather delayed work, they came with a crew on Saturday and Sunday to complete the job in a timely fashion. All in all, the price was reasonable and the results showed truly artful craftsmanship. We couldn’t be more pleased, and will certainly use them again when we have masonry needs.

Alex was truly professional giving us a reasonable estimate to repair a stone wall. His team was extremely neat and my yard was immaculate after they were finished. I highly recommend this company for stone work. Alex was responsive, friendly, and the work was impeccable.

57 Main Place Condo Association is very pleased to have contracted with Alex’s Masonry for a major pointing project on the front of their downtown Amesbury mixed-use building. On our end there were delays getting the project started but Alex graciously kept time open in his schedule, to work during what typically would have still been suitable weather allowing for good productivity. Despite the fact that Mother Nature didn’t cooperate, the crew worked diligently when weather allowed. Extra touches were thrown in at no charge, and concerns with final clean-up were dealt with promptly without complaint even though a bit of rain would probably have done the job for them! We look forward to using Alex’s Masonry for future work on the rest of the building.

Alex and crew did an amazing job with the assistance of helping me choose the design and pavers to blend with the landscape.
Description of work: Needed to have my front walkway replaced. Chose beautiful pavers to match my granite chimney which is a prominent feature in the front of my house. I also needed a badly warped step replace in the back of the garage exit door.

I hired Alex Masonry to remove a tired concrete patio and install a new paver patio. This was a 500 Sq ft patio. They did such a nice job I had them remove a walk and install a new walk, and create a pad for our garbage and recycling bins. They were on time, professional and very clean. When they finished there was no debris left behind.
